Test of Countywide Emergency Alert System - AlertMarin - March 23, 2024

On Saturday, March 23, the County’s Office of Emergency Management will conduct a countywide test with a 10:00 am notification sent to opted-in cell phones, landlines, and emails of those registered for AlertMarin.org. THIS IS ONLY A TEST. Residents are advised to NOT dial 9-1-1. Learn more about the alert system test.

Goodwill Partners with the City of Mill Valley to Relocate Donation Site

Goodwill's Mill Valley donation site has relocated from 1 Camino Alto to 411 Miller Ave. In recognition of the service Goodwill provides the residents of Mill Valley, City Manager Todd Cusimano and Councilmember Max Perrey stepped forward to help secure a new location. Electric Off-Road Vehicles - The Mill Valley Police Department has received several complaints about electric bicycles. Recently, our department has implemented many strategies to remedy electric bicycle violations.

Dollars & Sense: Investing

Thursday, March 28th, 7:00-8:00pm 

Learn about investing, the underlying goal for your money, and the time horizon for that goal determines how you should invest. We will talk about investing for both short-term and long-term goals, as well as how to evaluate investments both in the public markets as well as real estate and other non-traditional options. Trans Day of Visibility Open Mic Featuring Mason Deaver

Saturday, March 30th, 3:00-5:00pm

Join the Library for an evening of creativity and community (and free snacks!), featuring a keynote reading and discussion with Mason Deaver, author of acclaimed YA novels I Wish You All the Best, Okay, Cupid, The Ghosts We Keep, and more. Whether you have a poem, short story, or piece of music to share (or if you'd like to hear the words and music of your community) all are welcome at this free, all ages event.
