From stunning photos to captivating paintings, sculptures, videos, and beyond, this year's art show was a fantastic celebration of creativity.

New this year, students who received a "Best of Category" award were honored at an artist's ceremony for awardees and their families, led by Visual & Performing Arts Coordinator Anthony Dahl! 

A special round of applause to Andraya Gaines from Sierra High School for clinching the coveted Best of Show title! Her winning photo was captured while taking Intro to Photography.

Local Funding to Support District Modernization

Manteca Unified is thrilled to share the progress on East Union High School's new two-story building!

This month, Lancers had a special opportunity to be a part of history by signing the final beam needed for the new campus addition that will add 31 new classrooms.

At Manteca Unified, we understand the importance of modernizing our schools to meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's learners. By utilizing local tax dollars wisely, we've been able to expand and improve existing facilities while being fiscally responsible.

The construction of two-story buildings at Manteca High and East Union High is just one example of how we're investing in the future.

School Lunch Hero Day

May 3rd is School Lunch Hero Day! MUSD’s Nutrition team works hard all year round to provide healthy meals for the children in our community, and that is something to celebrate! We are so grateful for the tireless work of our Nutrition team and their dedication to keeping students fed and ready to learn.

National School Nurse Day

May 8th is School Nurse Day – a Board adopted day of recognition! 

School nurses keep track of health records, organize annual flu clinics, assist students with chronic conditions in their day-to-day needs, perform health assessments related to IEP's and much more. To our outstanding nurses: Happy School Nurse Day! 

Classified School Employee Week

The MUSD Board of Education has declared May 19-25 as Classified School Employees’ Week to celebrate our classified staff who support students, faculty, administrators, and wider communities in the classroom, office, on the road, and around campus! 

While the work they do is often behind the scenes, it is vital to the operations of our schools and the District. Thank you to our classified employees for all that you do!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Manteca Unified School District works to promote the healthy socio-emotional development of all students, as well as assist students to overcome mental health-related barriers to learning by connecting to them to available resources within MUSD and in the community.
