MSA FIRST IN PROVINCE - APPROVED TRAINER STATUS

MSA is very proud to announce that it is the first training provider in Saskatchewan to offer provincially approved training for the Occupational Health Committee Level 1 training program!

This achievement reflects our commitment to continuous improvement through process refinement and aligning with the criteria set by WorkSafe Sask approved training standard.

Our main driver was we want to ensure that our members invest their time participating in training sessions conducted by approved trainers, ensuring they depart with a certificate that is recognized and meets provincial approved standards.

Upholding this level of excellence is paramount to meeting our member’s expectations regarding training quality.

Crista Carter, WCB Assistant Director of Prevention, indicated that “The WorkSafe Approved Training Provider Program was developed to help ensure consistent workplace health and training is provided to Saskatchewan employers and workers. Each training standard outlines the minimum requirements necessary for a training provider and their training courses to be approved by WorkSafe Saskatchewan. When you become a WorkSafe Saskatchewan approved training provider, you are strengthening the quality of safety training in Saskatchewan.”
