AVAC's Advocacy Fellows Program supports emerging and mid-career advocates as they design and implement advocacy projects focused on HIV prevention research and implementation activities in their countries and communities. These projects address locally identified gaps and priorities. Fellows receive training, full-time financial support, and technical assistance to plan and implement a targeted one-year project within host organizations working in HIV or related advocacy. Applications are accepted until 20 September.

The Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA) is inviting applications from candidates for Head, Quality Assurance at the CAPRISA eThekwini Research Clinic. The successful incumbent will ensure that high quality clinical data is generated in accordance to GCP and to ensure that the trial is managed, documented, and monitored according to CAPRISA SOPs. The AIDS 2020 conference will be held on 6-10 July in San Francisco and Oakland, CA. Registration opens 1 October.
 
The 2019 Inter-CFAR Women and HIV Symposium will be held on 21-22 October in Chicago, IL. 
 
The SYNChronicity 2020 Conference will be held 10-12 May in Washington, DC. Registration opens soon.
