Career Opportunities

The European Region of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association is looking for a Senior Advocacy Officer. This individual will develop and implement effective policy and advocacy strategies with regional institutions, government or other relevant actors to respond to priorities identified by the European LGBTI movement; monitor developments and assess opportunities for advocacy of human rights of LGBT people at European level, as well as set out strategies on how to seize these opportunities; develop and implement capacity building and peer learning for policy-makers, civil society and practitioners at European and national levels on implementation of political commitments into concrete measures; and develop strategic partnerships and coalitions with other NGOs and relevant actors. Apply by Monday, 25 November at 12:00 p.m. CET.
 
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Center for Global Health (CGH) are accepting applications for a full time Epidemiologist to be based in Georgia, New York, or Washington, DC. This individual will evaluate data collection, quality control and data utilization methods used to study epidemiological problems and issues. Closing date is 31 December 2019. USAID-IMA World Health Counter-Gender Based Violence Program is seeking a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) with significant experience in gender-related programming to provide leadership to the programmatic implementation of the Tushinde Project--a comprehensive program to help communities respond to and prevent gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Important Dates

SYNChronicity 2020  will be held 11-12 May in Washington, DC. Early registration is open until 20 December 2019.

The 16th Congress of the European Society of Contraception (ESC) and Reproductive Health will be held 13-15 May 2020 in Dublin, Ireland. The scientific programme is available, and registration is now open.
 
AIDS 2020  will be held on 6-10 July in San Francisco and Oakland, CA. Early r egistration is open!

The 6th International Conference on Family Planning will be held on 1-4 February 2021 in Thailand.
 
The next MTN Annual Meeting will be held on 9-12 February 2020 in Arlington, VA.

CROI 2020 will be held 8-11 March in Boston, MA.
