MPERS' board of trustees and staff mourn the loss of Chief (ret.) Michael "Big Mike" Suchanek of the DeQuincy Police Department, who passed away on April 21, 2024. Chief Suchanek served on MPERS' board of trustees from July 2014 to May 2019.
We are extremely grateful for Chief Suchanek's service, and our hearts go out to his wife, children, and all his other family and friends. Chief Suchanek's full obituary can be found here.
