Also, please note that the Chamber’s own Government Affairs Liaison KEVIN DAYTON is a candidate for Monterey Peninsula Water Management District (MPWMD) Board of Directors, Division 3. In his professional role for the Chamber, he helps President & CEO Monica Lal to coordinate and prepare the extensive candidate review and endorsement process.

Thank you to the volunteers who served on the Chamber’s Candidate Review Committee for the November 5, 2024 election. They interviewed twenty candidates for local elected office over two days, reviewed candidate questionnaires, and provided recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors then took on the arduous process of making final decisions, which were often difficult. Your Chamber hopes you find this endorsement list useful as you exercise your right to vote.
