NOT A STONE LEFT STANDING

Mark 13:3-37 is called the Olivet Discourse. Jesus tells of the end time troubles, the Great Tribulation and the post-tribulation rapture (verses 24-27).

However, before He gives that discourse, another prophecy is given in verses 1 and 2. It reads, “As He went out of the temple, one of His disciples saith unto Him, ‘Master, see what manner of stones and what (strong) buildings are here!” And Jesus answering said unto him, ‘Seest thou these great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.’”

This was spoken by Jesus in about 29 A.D. (33 A.D. according to Usher). His prophetic words were fulfilled 40 years later in 70 A.D. when Rome destroyed Jerusalem. Rome totally demolished every building and the sturdy stone buildings were destroyed just as Jesus said they would be.

Jesus and his disciples then went to the Mount of Olives where he gave the end times discourse.

What about us in America? Don’t we perceive our nation to be strong and sturdy like those stone buildings? Don’t we have pride in it? (Our nation.)

Pride comes before a great fall. Is our nation immune to a fall? No. Just as those Jerusalem stone buildings fell, so America is lined up for a fall.

Many prophecies have a dual fulfillment; one for the near future, and one for a far distant future. The 70 A.D. prophecy about the stones in Jerusalem was the near future as to the listener’s ears when Jesus spoke those words. Could America’s fall be the distant future one? Could God have been speaking about our nation back then, warning us about pride coming before a fall?

LAUGHTER

In Proverbs 17:22 reminds us how important it is to laugh. It says, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” We can find humor in so many ways.

I like to joke around and laugh. Sometimes I laugh so hard it hurts. A funny story, or something someone said that was just a little crazy can cause me to laugh. When this laughter comes from the heart it works like medicine.

The story is told of a man that found out he had cancer. The doctor did not give him the best report, telling him that he only had a few months to live. But he also told the man that he had heard of laughter being a medicine. He told the man to go home and find the funniest tv shows that he could find and start laughing. This man had been so serious all his life and rarely laughed at anything. It was something new for him, but since it was an opportunity to extend his life, he gave it a try.

This man started watching old tv shows that were funny and started laughing. He laughed in the morning and in the middle of the day and in the evening. Sure enough, laughter worked. The cancer disappeared.

Many reading this have gone through some serious situations in the past year. Perhaps you need to “lighten up” a little and try what the man did. I guarantee that scripture cannot lie. If it says a merry heart is a medicine, then take laughter as a medicine several times a day until your countenance is merry. You will feel better!

Prophetic Word

I have drawn a line in the sand this day saith the Lord. For this day you must make a choice to go all the way with me and forsake all others or go the way of the world and the lukewarm church and go your own way. This season is the season that I will bring much change and only those that walk close to me and listen will hear what I have to say. I will put a word in the mouths of false prophets to make things look like they will be better in the days ahead, but this is not the way it will be. For gross darkness is coming upon the face of the earth. There will never be a time again where one would say all is peaceful. There will never be a time again when all is well in the world. Yes, the light of God will be upon those that have made the choice to go all the way with me, for there is a remnant that listens and obeys. My light shall shine through them. There will be days that bring many suddenlies. Sudden disasters, sudden increase of anointing, sudden deaths, and sudden healings. As the world sways far to the dark side, the ones that walk in my light will bring victory to many and pull them out of the darkness. For this is not the time to play games. Many will be released from their assignments because they chose to not go all the way and pay the price of the call. I will be calling many home that would fail in this hour saith the Lord. There are those that have endured great temptation, sorrow, and stretching, and have come through the fire of testing victorious. I have seen your tears and heard your prayers. Yes, there will be more difficult times, but I will sustain you as I did my children that have trusted me in the past. I will speak and when you hear me say, this is the way, walk in it, you will know that I am leading you. There will be a safety hedge, a safety net around those that listen and obey. Do not think that there will not be persecution of those that make a stand. For those in your own household will come against you. Those in your body of believers will turn against you. Many will say why have you not compromised? Why have you not given a little slack, but you will say, with God, I must be a watchman and stand for truth, and stand for integrity in his word. There cannot be any compromise. It is a time where many that you thought were for you will fall away. Be prepared for the lonely walk my child but know that I am with you. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth of those that lost their lives and chose the way of the world. But for those that are my true remnant there will be a time of doing great exploits. You may feel weak in this hour but know that my strength is made perfect in your weakness. Many times, I have allowed this weakness in your life so that you would totally depend upon my strength. So, listen more than ever and know that this is a time of great falling away of those that will not pay the price. But I know your heart and am confident that you will choose the right path, saith the Lord. I will be with you and just know that all you have to do is whisper my name and I am here. Now, wipe away the tears, and stand strong for in the very near future you shall see these things take place. Trust me my child and all will be well saith the Lord.

One of the most profound; Yet so very simple things I learned as a small child was Jesus loves me this I know... For the Bible tells me so. Regardless of where you’ve been in life, what you have done or what you are now going through; Just know that you can always cling to the peace and to the hope that God and His perfect love brings to all who seek Him. So today try reaching out to Jesus for He is reaching out to you; And you will have a most blessed and happy day.
