THE DOOR OF YOUR MOUTH

James 3:8 says, “But the tongue can no man tame. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.” The full passage of James 3:2-12 speaks much about the tongue, meaning the words and thoughts spoken from our mouth and out of our hearts. Much trouble can be the result of speaking thoughtlessly.
So, how can we get help to bridle our tongue so as not cause issues, trouble, or ill words to be spoken?
Is it by self-discipline? That is a good thought, but in “the heat of the moment,” we may let words slip out.
Psalm 141:2a and 3 tell us our source of help to properly control our tongue. This psalm is the prayer where David says, “Let my prayer be set forth before thee…set a watch [guard], O LORD, before my mouth. Keep [watch over] the door of my lips.” (KJV.)
The Amplified bible says it this way: “Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips [ to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly].
Words spoken thoughtless are idle words. Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 12:36-37 where he said, “Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment…justified…[or] condemned.”
God can set a guard over our tongue if we ask Him. That guard possibly could be an angel to prevent [stop] us, or more likely, the Holy Spirit who puts a check upon us.
Ask the LORD for His help if you have a problem with this. Then, also make your conscious effort for self-control. Words can harm, words can benefit. Words can encourage.

THE VOICE OF THE SHEPHERD

In John 10 we see Jesus sharing about the sheepfold. We learn that Jesus is the door into the sheepfold. John 10:7 says, “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.” He goes on to say that all that came before him [religious dogma and teachers] were thieves and robbers where the sheep do not hear the shepherd’s voice.
In John 10:4 it says, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” Again, in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
I have often heard people say that God does not speak to them. This is a lie. If one is a sheep, which happens at salvation, then they will hear God speak. It may not be an audible voice, but God speaks through His word. If you do not read the word of God and study it, chances are you will not hear God speaking.
In John 10:10 Jesus speaks about a thief. It says, “the thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Satan is the thief. He robs the word of God every chance he can if the ground it falls on is not good ground.
We learn from Psalm 23 that the Lord leads us. He does not push us. He does not force us. He will lead when we allow it. How are we led? We are led by his voice, either through that inner witness or through the word of God.
Jesus will lead us into green pastures. This means that he will take us to places that feed us. He does not want us to go without. He is our provider. Like any shepherd, he takes his sheep beside still waters and into the place where they are safe. He keeps us safe from the enemy [Satan] who wants to kill us, steal from us, and destroy us. The way we are safe from these three things is to let God lead us.
The Holy Spirit is our guide and our comforter. In John 16:13 it says that “… he will guide you into ALL truth…” Never doubt that God has a good plan for you. Listen to the voice of the shepherd and you will not go astray.
If you have gone astray then repent, and the Good Shepherd is right there to bring you back to the flock!

PROPHETIC WORD
Early this morning the Lord spoke one word to me, and it was “explosion.” It came while I was studying the word. I do not listen to the news, or am influenced by many things, but I know it was the Lord speaking.
Later, I heard the word death and destruction. I saw multiple places in our country with smoke spiraling over them. I knew it was the “explosion” that God said earlier, but now it was in more than one place.
We, along with others in the prophetic voice, have been feeling intense darkness and heaviness, which is an indicator of things coming that are from the “dark side.” As I researched the word the Lord gave me, I found that other prophetic voices have heard the word explosion also. I do not take this lightly. I believe that it is a sound and pure word from the Lord.
Many prophets (true prophets) have seen war on the horizon, including myself. There are so many illegals crossing our borders right now from countries that hate America, so it is not a surprise that war is coming. Those that hate us are already in our country. This is not the time for fear. This is the time for the remnant to rise up and be light in the darkness that is coming. If there is death and destruction coming to our land, then we need to witness more than ever the love of God to those bound in sin and darkness.
As always, take this word to the Lord and pray about it. Make sure you are prepared for very hard days ahead and stay close to the Lord. Spend time in the word of God and be ready for whatever is on the horizon.

Someone needs to know that God is enlarging your territory. Therefore no matter how things look at the moment; Still you must believe that better is on the way…And that it is turnaround time for you. Remember that no one can DETAIN you or cause YOU to REFRAIN from…All that God has ORDAINED in you and for you. So quickly break free from that small thinking mindset you’ve picked up along life’s journey. You know those thoughts you sometimes ponder on like, “I just can’t do it” or “It’ll never happen for me”. Now get it in your head and in your heart that God has so much more in store for you. In fact, what He has for you…Will far exceed anything and everything those who’re against you can imagine. Always stay open to the endless opportunities and possibilities that God has awaiting you. In the meantime, keep in mind that He would not have brought you this far to leave you. Just remember God has much more in store for you; So you can look up and rejoice for…Brighter days and better ways are coming to you.
