PPP to Focus on Small Businesses
Starting on Wednesday, February 24th, only businesses with fewer than 20 employees will be allowed to apply for the current round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). This restriction will stay in place for two weeks, allowing lenders to focus on getting funding to these small businesses. The application eligibility will revert to normal on March 10th.

One reason to file your 2020 tax return early
The IRS announced it is opening the 2020 individual income tax return filing season on February 12. (This is later than in past years because of a new law that was enacted late in December.)
