Every three years, the church arm of MKMI Philippines, which is called ATWOC, conducts a national youth conference, which we call
IGNITION
. ATWOC stands for ALL THE WORLD OUTREACH CHURCHES, in obedience to the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-18, where Jesus commands believers to
go into all the world to preach the gospel.

This conference part of ATWOC outreach is designed to educate, empower and equip the youth from our nationwide network of churches,
sending them forth to win souls and wreak havoc on the kingdom of darkness in these last days.
The theme for IGNITION 2019 was “
SEND ME!”
taken from Isaiah 6:8. God is still asking that same question today:
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

The prophet’s reply is the correct reply that opens up all of heaven’s resources, power, provision and protection for every Christian –
here am I Lord – send me!
For IGNITION 2019, we wanted to make sure our youth were ready to give that same reply to the Lord, not just in word, but in action as well!
|
|
The conference was 3 days of intense ministry, anointed teaching, powerful moves of the Holy Spirit, and seasons of repentance and re-dedication to the cause of Christ by those in attendance.
Over 700 youth and youth leaders were there
, attending teaching and ministry sessions every morning and evening, having activities and competitions in the afternoon, and in the evening, sleeping on bunk beds with no mattresses, or on the tile floors when bunk space ran out.
They came from all over the country, and left with a fresh fire burning in their hearts to obey the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-18.

The cost of hosting this conference was almost $14,000.
Thank you for your generous support.
It enables us to minister to hundreds of on-fire-for-Jesus youth – sending them back home with a heightened passion to evangelize their homes, families, schools and classmates.
|
|
As of the middle of September,
work on the expansion of our Administration Building is ahead of schedule for completion
. This project was started in January, 2019, under orders from the Lord to pay cash as we go – not to borrow any money to pay for this project.
To date, we’ve raised and spent over $120,000 to bring our project to this point in time
. We know the Lord will provide what we need to finish. I’ll share more updates about this in next month’s newsletter.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life." -
John 3:16
Often called the Bible’s most precious verse, John 3:16 reveals the only two options every human being has in this life before death. Eternal salvation by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior, or the penalty for rejecting the work of Christ on the cross – perishing in everlasting torment in the lake of fire.

: Do Christians really understand what it means for a man to
perish?
Most don’t, but here at MKMI we do – therefore we go!
