The Michigan Ceramics Biennial Exhibition & Competition is open to all visual artists who have lived, studied or worked within the State of Michigan.

This exhibition will take place from September 27th - October 31st, 2024 at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center

The entry fee of $40 includes a 1 year membership in MCAA (value $30). Entries are due July 1, 11:59pm.

We are excited that George Rodriguez will jury the Michigan Ceramics 2022. George was born and raised in the border city of El Paso, TX, George Rodriguez creates highly ornamented, figurative ceramic sculptures, often underlined by a connection to the sociopolitical issues the artist explores.

Rodriguez holds a BFA from the University of Texas El Paso and an MFA in ceramics from the University of Washington, Seattle. Visit georgerodriguez.net to learn more about George and to check out some of his incredible work!
