Life is a journey and can be impacted and influenced by many varying life events and choices...like deciding to join the military.
We honor all current and former members of the Armed Services. We want to give a special thank you to our colleagues who are veterans or who are currently serving. Our country’s greatness is built on the foundation of your courage and sacrifice. Thank you!
Joel joined the United States Navy and served for twenty-six years and retired as a US Navy Commander CDR. "I always wanted to fly and my father had served in the Navy during WWII."
Dan H joined the United States Army and served for eight years. "I was 19. I wanted to expand my horizons and see what I was capable of achieving."
Cory joined the United States Army serving for six years and serving with the National Guard for three years. "I always knew I wanted to serve from a young age and knew it was something I had to do."
Ashley joined the United States Army and served for six years. "I always wanted to help people. Also, I saw a group of soldiers in a parade and I remember thinking that's what I wanted to do when I grew up. Then once I got into the Army, I went all in and tried to outdo myself. That's why I went to Airborne school. 150 jumps later and my whole body hurts, but I am really glad I did it."
Ben joined the United States Army serving four years and is currently serving in Air National Guard EOD. "I always had the want to serve. I completed my freshman year of college at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and decided now was the time. But, I wanted to make it worthwhile and do something exciting, so I decided to enlist and start the path to becoming an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (my mom wasn't happy with the choice).
