2021 KBA MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
It's time to renew your KBA membership for 2021. As an active member of the association, you gain access to valuable benefits, services and resources throughout the year. A few of the 2021 benefits include: online RAB sales certification; access to RAB's extensive vault of sales training webinars; Rising Above 2 Summit; Local Broadcast Sales webinars; continuing education reimbursements; training opportunities for sales, management, talent and engineering; annual membership conference; state and national advocacy on issues critical to broadcasters, pre-employment testing; ABIP inspections; legal and engineering hotlines; background screening discounts and so much more.

Before you get started, let me apologize for the extra work that we are asking you to do with this renewal. We are using a brand new database that will facilitate future membership benefits such as training opportunities, reimbursements, board elections, conference registration and more. In migrating to the new system, Chris and I opted not to export existing data from the old membership database, fearing that the data may be outdated or corrupt. The good news is that you will only be asked to complete these three steps one time... THIS time only.
This renewal process is intended to be completed by the owner or designated management executive, as payment is required to complete the process.

STEP 1 OF 3 - OWNERSHIP REGISTRATION
  1. Select the type of membership that you will be submitting.
  2. Using the drop-down tool, select the total number of full-power stations within your ownership umbrella.
  3. Complete the fields that follow and submit payment.

NOTE: In the ENTITY field, please enter the name of your company, corporation or ownership group as shown in the example below.
STEP 2 OF 3 - SUBMITTING STATION DATA
  1. Upon completion of Step 1, follow the onscreen link and instructions to submit data for each full-power station.
  2. Complete the fields on screen and submit your station data.
  3. Repeat this step for each full-power station.

NOTE: In the ENTITY field, please enter the call letters specific to this station as shown below (i.e., WKBA-AM, WKBA-FM, WKBA-TV).
STEP 3 OF 3 - CREATING YOUR INFO HUB CREDENTIALS & ADDING STAFF MEMBERS
  1. Upon completion of Step 2, follow the onscreen link to the INFO HUB.
  2. Click on CREATE ONE in the lower right-hand corner (as shown below)
  3. You will receive an email with a link to complete access to the INFO HUB.
  4. Once logged into the INFO HUB, select MY INFO, then RELATED CONTACTS.
  5. Select ADD CONTACTS to add all members of your staff.
  6. Once added, staff members will receive an email to complete their access to the INFO HUB.

NOTE: You can access the INFO HUB at anytime in the future from the KBA website at kba.org.
