CIG On-Farm Trial Funding Available
NRCS has opened up the application period for Conservation Innovation Grants for on-farm trials. This year's funding priorities are climate-smart agricultural solutions, irrigation water management, nutrient management, and soil health. Applications are being accepted now through 9/22/2022. Inflation Reduction Act Passes US Senate
On Sunday, the Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The bill would provide significant investments for agriculture, including over $20 billion in funding to support farmers' implementation and expansion of voluntary on-farm conservation practices and $500 million to provide greater market access for higher blends of biofuels.
