Mr. Munford Celebration!
What an AMAZING principal! Mr. Alan Munford is taking on a new adventure as the Director of Adult Evening School at MCTS. Ms. Wurtzel and staff put on a great party to celebrate his time as principal at the Assunpink Campus. We wish you the best of luck and thank you for everything you have done for our school!
Pride Month!
MCTS celebrates Pride Month district wide! Students were able to decorate, create, and share ways they celebrated.
HSA Making Magic!
Class of 2024 Health Science Academy graduate Asmaa Elhedoudy and Assistant Principal Susan Conrad attended the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas, on June 25-30. Asmaa served as the 2023-2024 NJHOSA State Southern Region Vice President and represented New Jersey at the conference. Congratulations to all of our HOSA chapter members for this successful year!
HVAC Certs!
HVAC created a pre-apprenticeship program (DOL Certified) that includes Interplay Learning Software, Videos, Tests, and Virtual Reality training simulations. It also provides credit for a portion of their shop and class hours for the year. The students received DOL-approved RTI hours (Related Technical Instruction) and OJT hours (On-the-Job Training) that can be used towards a Registered Apprenticeship if they go out to work. All AM and PM students received a certified pre-apprenticeship certificate with their individually earned RTI and/or OJT hours listed. Congratulations!
Way to Go!
Aryanna Mason, a member of the Culinary Arts Academy graduating class of 2024, was recently recognized as a CTE scholar for her excellence in career and technical education, by the NJ DOE. Aryanna is continuing her passion for Culinary Arts next year at the Culinary Institute of America. Congratulations!
MCTS Picnic!
MCTS celebrated the school year with the Assunpink and Sypek picnics. Students were able to enjoy activites, food, and music!
Adobe Certified!
MCTS and Mrs. Perlman couldn't be prouder of our Graphic Design students' achievements for the first year running the Adobe Certification. Graphic Design students have earned 110 Adobe Professional Certifications. 99% of the first-year students obtained their Illustrator Certification. 100% of second-year students obtained their Photoshop Certification. 99% of second-year students also obtained their Illustrator Certification. A combination of the two classes earned 66 additional Adobe certifications. Way to go!
