Volunteer Spotlight

We want to congratulate Sandra Islas on receiving the District I Difference Maker Award on September 21. This award is given to residents who make a difference in their community.

Sandra has been a consistent volunteer at MCA-TV who has volunteered on multiple productions over the years at the station. Congrats Sandra!
Don't Forget

Do you have an idea for a show, or has it been a while since you have used one of our cameras and you would like some practice? You can contact MCA-TV Director Allison at Aeastham@Moontwp.us or call 412.269.1191 and schedule a time to come in and we will go over things with you again! 

Don't forget, you can also reserve the equipment to practice at home so you can get familiar with using it outside of the studio. If you are interested, contact Allison today to find out more! 
Production Classes Update

Do you know someone who would like to volunteer for MCA-TV? We have updated the way we offer our production classes to allow for social distancing and more flexibility for people to come!

Classes are now available on Wednesdays until 7 PM at the studio. This allows volunteers to pick their date and time and come in to learn one-on-one! Contact Allison at aeastham@moontwp.us for info!
Produce a New Show Today
Do you have an idea for a new show? MCA-TV is always looking for new content!

Producing a show is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Pitch your show idea to Allison Ford
2. Schedule a production date
3. Watch your show on MCA-TV

The rules are pretty simple, any Moon resident can produce a show, or non-residents can work with a community producer to sign off on their production and help gather volunteers!

What is a community producer, you ask?
A community producer is a Moon Township resident that has gone through our production course.

If you are not a community producer, we can help pair you up with one! We currently have about 15 active community producers ready to help you get your show on the road! The process is easy! Just contact Allison Ford at aeastham@moontwp.us with information about your idea and you are on your way!
We are back to filming Moon Area High School Football! This month we have games at Moon High School on October 1, October 15, and October 22. Pizza will be arriving at 6 pm. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Allison at aeastham@moontwp.us.
