Outboard Only Shootout division UPDATE:

  

The one day only Outboard Shootout division of the 45th annual Labor Day Invitational will take place on Sunday, September 2, 2012. The marine forecast looks to continually improve on Sunday, and as a result the one day Outboard Only Shootout division of the Labor Day Invitational has been rescheduled to Sunday Fishing Only:

  

• All teams planning to fish the Outboard Only Shootout division should attend the Pre-Party & Captain's meeting for the 45th Annual Labor Day Invitational to be held on Friday, August 31st starting at 4:00 pm. However, the official and mandatory Captain's Meeting for the Outboard Only Shootout division will commence promptly at 6:30 pm on Saturday, September 1st.

• Teams interested in fishing the Outboard Only Shootout division may register on Saturday, September 1st from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm.  All Outboard Shootout teams must attend the Saturday Captain's Meeting to officially sign out and to receive the Outboard Shootout's Tournament Designator to be used in the harvesting of all meatfish and the catch and release of any billfish.

Please note that the 45th Annual Labor Day Invitational will be held as scheduled with the Tournament events beginning:

Friday, August 31st Pre-Party:

-Registration beginning at 4:00 pm and Buffet Dinner presented by Gulf Coast Hatteras, from 6 - 8 pm.

-Mandatory Captain's Meeting: 8 pm with mandatory sign-out from the captain's meeting by captain, owner or registered angler.

-Tournament Participants & Crew may leave upon conclusion of the Captain's Meeting; however, all participants and crew must use extreme caution and travel at there own risk.

 

Saturday, September 1 - Fishing:

-MBGFC Weigh Dock opens 5 pm and closes at 9 pm.

-Outboard Shootout Division Captain's Meeting at 6:30 pm. Outboard boats can leave after the mandatory sign-out from this captain's meeting by captain, owner or register angler.

 

Sunday, September 2 - Fishing:

-All Boats must enter Perdido Pass rocks by 8:00

-MBGFC Weigh Dock 4 pm until 9 pm.

 

Monday, September 3 - Champions Breakfast:

-9:30 am in the Billfish Pavillion.
