MBA Season Approaching
Dear MBA Family,
It won't be long before we get started with the new MBA season. Here are a few things we could use your help with:
1. Scorekeepers:
If you have a high school or college age person in your family who knows how to keep score we need them. Some of our scorekeepers from last year are moving on to college and won't be available this year. We would like to replace them with your sons or daughters. We also have a training seminar if you don't know how but would like to learn. Typically we would like to offer Community Service Hours for doing this. Since our organization is mostly volunteers, it would be a great way for them to understand the importance of volunteering and get some Community Service credit for their school. We did pay $5.00 per game last year and gave the kids a choice. Though we are trying to save money wherever we can, we will still pay $5.00 per game but cannot give Community Service credit if they are paid. 2. Developmental League:
If you have a child in the first or second grade who wants to begin learning how to play basketball get them registered in our new Developmental League. Click on the link at the bottom of this email to go our website and click on brochures to get more information.
3. Get Registered:
If you haven't registered yet, please try to do it as soon as possible so we know how to plan.
