College Foundation Measure Heads to the Governor

On Thursday, April 18^th, the Mississippi State Senate concurred with the House Chamber amending language to Senate Bill 2697 by a vote of 51 to 0. This measure will now transmit to the Governor for consideration.

The Sixteenth week of the 2024 Regular Legislative Session is now complete. The deadline for Original Floor Action on appropriation and revenue bill originating in other house has passed. The deadline to Concur or Not Concur in amendments from Other House to general bills and constitutional amendments is Thursday April 25^th, and the deadline for Introduction of local and private bills that are not revenue bills is Friday, April 26^th.
