LOS ÁNGELES, CA (Marzo 22, 2017).- Mariana Vega lanzó hoy a través de VEVO, el video oficial de su más reciente sencillo, "La Marea", y está magnético! Sus fans podrán ver como una pareja muy atractiva se conecta a través del baile mientras que Vega canta la letra de la sensual canción.
 
El video fue filmado en Miami por el director Gastón Goldmann quien tuvo la idea de mostrar la evolución de una relación a través del baile contemporáneo.
 
"Queríamos crear un video elegante y poco predecible," dijo Vega.  "En el video vemos el inicio de un romance y lo tiernas que son las cosas al principio. Una vez el tiempo pasa, vemos como la relación ha evolucionado y como la pareja pierde la conexión".
 
"También  queríamos aprovechar la temática del mar. Tengo un momento bastante surreal en el video en el que canto bajo el agua. La realidad es que fue bastante difícil porque el agua estaba muy fría y tenía que aguantar la respiración mientras dos pesas de 10 libras atadas a mis pies me ayudaban a mantenerme sumergida! Pero valió la pena por lo mucho que me divertí y porque le dio un toque místico e intenso al video", agregó Mariana.
 
Mariana Vega acaba de regresar de un exitoso debut en el festival SXSW en la ciudad de Austin, TX, en donde interpretó el éxito "La Marea" para sus fans y para los miembros de la prensa.

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 22, 2017).- Mariana Vega is set to debut the official music video for her song "La Marea" ("The Tide") and it is magnetizing!! Fans can watch a handsome couple connect through dance as Vega sings the lyrics of the sultry new track  today via VEVO.
 
The video was shot in Miami by director Gastón Goldmann who created the concept to show the evolution of a relationship through contemporary dance.
 
"We wanted to create an elegant video that was also a little unpredictable," Vega said. "In the video we see the beginning of a romance and how tender things are at first. As time passes, we see how the relationship has evolved and the couple is not connecting any longer."
 
"We also wanted to take full advantage of the sea theme, so I have a magical moment in the video where I can sing under water. It was actually quite difficult because the water was so cold and I had to hold my breath while two, 10 pound weights tied to my feet helped me to stay submerged! But it was worth it because I had so much fun and it added a mystical intensity to the video."
 
Mariana Vega has just returned from a successful debut at Austin's SXSW Festival where she performed "La Marea" for fans and members of the media.
