Volunteer Iowa Accepting Nominations for the 2023 Governor's Volunteer Awards
The Governor's Volunteer Award program provides an easy way to honor the dedicated people who volunteer their time and talent to help an agency or organization deliver on its mission. Nonprofits, charitable organizations, and government entities may recommend an individual volunteer or group of volunteers who directly assisted the organization with a project, event, or activity for a Governor's Volunteer Award. Give Back Iowa Challenge Begins April 1st
The 9th annual Give Back Iowa Challenge is an eight-week statewide challenge, which serves as a competitive way to encourage organizations and businesses to participate in community volunteering. The challenge runs from April 1 to May 31, 2023. Participants can register their organization/business, trace the hours of employees, record hours on the system, and celebrate volunteerism.
