Bedfordshire enters Tier 3 (Very High) local restrictions
Luton will move into Tier 3 of local restrictions, along with the whole of Bedfordshire, from 12.01am on Saturday 19th December.
The Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, made the announcement in the House of Commons this morning (17th December), as the number of cases continues to grow in the local area.

This means that hospitality businesses, including pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and shisha bars, will only be able to provide takeaway and delivery services.

Full guidance on the restrictions under Tier 3 can be found HERE.
Continuing to support our BID businesses & COVID-19 Day of Action
Please be reassured the Luton BID team will be doing all they can to support businesses through this period of additional restrictions.

As part of our town centre partnership, Luton BID will be joining Luton Council, Bedfordshire Police and The Mall to help businesses and members of the public understand the new requirements of the local restrictions tomorrow - Friday 18th December.

If you would like a visit from the team, please email info@lutonbid.org and we will arrange a time for a safe meeting.
