BID features in Improving Places report

Luton BID was featured as a case study in the Improving Places report by The Arts Council, the Mayor of London and King's College London.

The report presents examples of best practice and recommendations as to how BIDs, local authorities and cultural organisations can work together to drive economic growth and help their communities thrive.

Luton BID's partnership with Luton Culture on the As You Change So Do I programme is highlighted. You can read the report HERE.
Trees in St George's Square will look like those with pea lighting on George Street
Lighting up St George's Square

Festive lighting on  trees in St George's Square will add extra Christmas sparkle to the town centre.

Pea lighting is twined around twelve trees in the square and is being funded by Luton BID as part of our commitment to compliment and improve Luton Borough Council's Christmas decorations.

Our 30ft Christmas tree has also arrived and lights will be added later this week in time for the town's annual light switch-on, Lighting up Luton on Saturday 25 November.

More on the BID's Christmas programme which aims to entice more people into the town centre during November and December HERE.
