Promote your business in Luton on Sunday

We are promoting town centre businesses in Luton this year and funding a series of features in the town's weekly newspaper, Luton on Sunday.

Our first feature will focus on places to go, things to do and presents to buy this Easter. This is your opportunity to promote your business (at no cost to your business) so if you would like to be included in our Easter round up please get in touch by 12noon this Wednesday, 9th March.

To be included please email around 100 words about your business and a jpeg photo to promotions@lutonbid.org

Clean for the Queen

Check out our photos from last week's Clean for the Queen day, part of a national initiative to clear up Britain in time for the Queen's 90th birthday.

Thank you to all the volunteers from local businesses who joined the clean- up event, organised by the council and supported by Luton BID.

Moving forwards, the council are planning an Open Your Eyes clean-up programme for 2016, which the BID will support. See our Facebook album HERE.
Bute Street plans and meeting

Businesses in and around Bute Street are invited to have their say at a Luton Borough Council meeting this Wednesday, 9th March, at 3pm.

Plans are underway to hold an official launch of the pedestrianised, theatre area near the Hat Factory and local businesses are being asked to share their views with the council.

If you would like to attend simply turn up at the council's town hall offices and go to the Council Chamber, or email us and we will let the council know you are coming.
Look out for your levy bill

Luton Council will shortly be issuing BID Levy bills to businesses in the Luton town centre. Should you have any queries with regards to your bill, please contact the NNDR team at Luton Borough Council on 0300 790 0349  or via email at revenuesNNDR@luton.gov.uk.

Also included with your bill will be a copy of the Luton BID Highlights and Achievements for 2015, showcasing much of the work carried out by the BID in the past year and providing information on key results.
