West Coast Wind Quintet

and jazz vocalist Dewey Erney


for a 90-minute concert featuring Ron's music.


The performance will be at

Grace Presbyterian Church in Long Beach.

Admission is free!


The program will include Ron Levy’s “Star Sonata” (a world premiere), "Space Waltz", and "Spacewalk", along with a new set of arrangements of "space-themed" jazz standards. Works by composers Mason Bynes, Gustav Holst, Marc Mellits, Jeff Russo, and Christopher Ziemba will round out the program.


The West Coast Wind Quintet was formed in 2012 and is a group of five passionate and talented young musicians who are dedicated to performing and promoting wind quintet music and expanding the quintet repertoire by working with living composers.


Ron Levy has composed for a wide range of instrumental forces, from solo flute to large orchestra.


Dewey Erney is an eminent jazz vocalist well-known to Southern California audiences.


Together they create a program that is fun and unique. Hope to see you there!
