TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Pleasant Street at the junction of Pleasant Street and Mill Street is closed to all vehicle traffic to facilitate project construction. A detour is in place that routes vehicle traffic from Pleasant Street along Elm Street, Main Street, and Pleasant Street Extension.
Pleasant Street is open for bicycle and pedestrian traffic via a signed temporary path.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Throughout the week, during daytime hours, crews will be installing drilled micropiles at Abutment 1 on Pleasant Street. Neighboring properties can expect to hear a fair amount of noise during drilling activities.
LOCATION: Bridge 57 is situated on Mill Street over the Black River with Main Street to the north and Pleasant Street to the south in Ludlow, VT.
PROJECTED COMPLETION: October 2024
