DATE: Friday, April 26, 2024

PROJET OVERVIEW: The Vermont Agency of Transportation is removing the existing truss bridge #57 on Mill Street over the Black River. This existing bridge has been closed to traffic since 2007. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Between Monday, April 29 and Friday, May 3, during daytime hours, crews will be removing the deck debris containment platform from the existing bridge. Then crews will begin preparing the area behind Abutment 1 for micropile drilling activities that are expected to begin the week of May 6.

LOCATION: Bridge 57 is situated on Mill Street over the Black River with Main Street to the north and Pleasant Street to the south in Ludlow, VT.
