Scripture tells us that Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly. This couples newsletter comes to you in hopes that you might have love, and that you might have it more abundantly in your relationship. For those of you already experiencing a love relationship that looks and feels like both of you want it, hopefully you will benefit from the additional date ideas and/or conferences or workshop information that will allow you to spend time and share with like-minded couples. For those of you not getting the love you need or want, we pray that you will pray with us that there will be some resource, some idea, some scripture, some word of encouragement that will prompt you to hang in there and to take your relationship to a different level. If you are looking for a positive change- God can and will facilitate that change. He is able! To give up says to the world that scripture is a lie- that all things are not possible with God. If you believe that God is real and the scriptures are true, your love will last and will grow to become everything you want it to be. I have to be honest and say to you that the change must start with you- not your significant other, but you! You must change your prayer regimen and intentionally pray for your relationship; pray that you look for the positive and not the negative in every situation; that you exhibit the fruits of the spirit and not the works of the flesh; that you mature and grow in Christ so that you may react and respond and express your thoughts in a spiritually mature manner- a manner that reflects the love of Christ; and that you attempt to do this more days this week than you did last week. If the Marriage/Couples Ministry at your church is having an activity that you would like to share with others, please email us the information so that we can share. If a book you've read, a movie you've seen, a conference/workshop you've attended has been especially helpful in your marriage/relationship- please share it with us so that we can bless others. Pray for us as we continue to pray for you that we will have a solid, intimate, loving relationship that our families and members of our community can be proud of.
