As a result of our pending disannexation from the City of Austin, solid waste services currently provided by Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) will END on September 3, 2024. All carts (trash, recycling, and compost) should be placed at the curb on the evening of September 2. ARR will collect as usual on September 3rd and then send out a contractor to pick up all of their bins. There is a $25 fee for bin pick up which will appear on your Austin Utility bill. Failure to place all bins at the curb for collection will result in a $45/bin fee assessed by ARR. So please, spread the word and tell all of your neighbors!
The Limited District has contracted with Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) for preferred pricing for solid waste disposal for Lost Creek residents. Residents are not required to select TDS for their trash service. However, in order for Lost Creek to receive the lowest available rate, at least 80% of Lost Creek households must sign up. TDS is the only contractor that responded to solicitation for group pricing by the Limited District, and the pricing and service is comparable to ARR.

- Weekly collection time: 4am-7pm
- Make sure to have your bins out the night before!
- Billing is quarterly, in advance. At signup, the customer service agent will take your prorated payment by credit card over the phone.
- An email will be sent to you after signup to register for the customer portal.
Base Rate - $37.67/month
- (1) 96-gallon trash - Pickup 1x/week
- (3) additional refuse/trash bags allowed beside trash bin
- (1) 96-gallon recycling bin- Pickup 1x/2 weeks
- (1) 35-gallon compost bin- Pickup 1x/week
- Bulky Pickup - 4x/year/household - as needed, call ahead basis
- Brush Pickup - 5x/year - to be coordinated by the Limited District

- Mattress/box spring (per unit) - King - $50
