The water tower will be 120 feet tall and located in the northeast corner of the subdivision, close to Las Cimas. Water tower construction and utilities infrastructure will be completed first, followed by home construction. Home construction is currently scheduled to begin in 2025. • Disannexation Election: The City of Austin has called for an election on May 4, 2024 on the topic of disannexing Lost Creek from the city. The Limited District has compiled an informational webpage on the election.

  • FY2023 Audit Report: The Limited District board approved the FY2023 audit at the January 24, 2024 meeting. A copy of the audit report is available on the district website.

Neighborhood Updates

Your Limited District Board has been working on several projects to enhance the neighborhood and our amenities:

  • Boulevard Park Enhancements: Several sections of the sidewalk at Boulevard Park have been leveled and the district is in the process of replacing the playground gate. Please help us ensure the gate stays operable and do not allow children to swing on the gate. This causes unnecessary wear and tear and is a safety hazard.

  • Firewise Clearing: Team Rubicon recently began brush clearing and tree trimming on several sections of the Lost Creek greenbelt. The District greatly appreciates the work these volunteers from Team Rubicon complete to reduce the fire risk within Lost Creek. Trimming and clearing work will continue during the week of March 4.

Reminders

  • All exterior construction in Lost Creek must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This requirement is in addition to any approval received from the City’s permitting process. More information can be found on the District’s website

  • Please encourage your friends and neighbors to sign up for our newsletter. We are trying to reach as many homeowners as possible in the neighborhood.
