Unison Prayer
In reverent praise and awe,
we praise our Lord God with hearts and minds filled with joyful trust,
because you have never left us bereft of comfort and help when we needed it.
We praise you for the many signs in the past of God’s presence with your people.
We thank you God, for all the daily signs we see that God always comes to people looking for God;
and we ask your blessings on future generations who will also learn of your listening ear;
your strong arm that protects vulnerable people;
and your loving heart that inspires trust.
We offer our praises to God, because of God’s faithfulness in listening and acting.
May God always be praised!
Amen.

Call to Worship
L: Let our praise for all that God has done resound within and beyond these walls. When all people turn to God and worship God,
P: the poor shall eat and be satisfied,
and justice and peace will surely embrace present and future generations.
L: Therefore, in thanksgiving for all that God has done,
P: let our lives and our love proclaim the message
of God's gracious and liberating acts.
All: We offer all of ourselves in His holy name. Amen.

The Scriptures for next week are:
Exodus 20:1-17
John 2:13-22
1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Before worship, the page numbers for the scripture will be on the screens if you choose to read from the pew bibles. The reader may be reading from another translation. I would encourage you to listen as it is being read, and perhaps read the verses before service begins.

Building Security
This note is for those with a key to the building or code access--if you let yourself in,or open a door to give your group access for a meeting, please make sure that the doors are all locked again before you leave. Over the last few weeks, the building has been left unlocked many times. There are lots of reasons why this is a bad situation.
Please do your part to protect both building and staff by locking the doors, and double checking them before leaving.

If you have something that should be added to this newsletter from your group or mission, please speak with Pastor Jen or email the details to her at jenmatt20@gmail.com. The E-Grace is generally completed by noon on Thursdays, so articles need to be received by Thursday 10am at the very latest.
If you wish to connect with me directly and it is not an emergency, please know that I will respond as needed during pretty regular office hours. I am generally in the church on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from at least 10-1, call the office to be sure, as my weeks may vary. I check my emails frequently throughout the day, and this is the best way to contact me. Friday is my day off as needs allow.
