Celebrating Methodist Services' graduating Kindergartners! Congratulations to our wonderful students & families! Thank you, Ms. Brenda!

Goals of Juneteenth, according to Historian Mitch Kachun: “To celebrate, To educate, To agitate… “

Here at Methodist Services: Juneteenth is a time to gather, grill, chat, chew, listen, reflect, play a game or two, win a prize & celebrate!

Methodist Services has added some new outdoor furniture to its campus, thanks to a successful partnership with the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In May, the Center hosted the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Quadrennial North American Convention, and following the event, gifted Methodist with benches, bistro sets, and picnic tables. The furniture will be used for the enjoyment of our families, students and staff. We thank the Pennsylvania Convention Center for their continued generous support!

Such a fabulous night! 140 guests joined us for Methodist Services’ 2024 Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser. A big shout-out to our wonderful Emcee Vince Curran & Co-Host Tremaine Attaway, Event Committee, Sponsors, Table of 10 Supporters & Ticket Buyers! We love you all! Thanks for supporting our work.

Methodist Services’ Community Schools Leadership recently attended the National Community Schools & Family Engagement Conference in Atlanta, where they shared our Community Schools model and learned from national colleagues. We appreciate you!

Almost 100 Methodist Services’ Community Schools students, families & staff joined 43,500 fans to cheer on the Philadelphia Phillies to a win against the Milwaukee Brewers! Our Phillies stepping up to the plate!

From Heritage Farm - Farm Manager, Ryan Curran:

"As we reach the solstice the farm season is in full swing. Fields are filling out and the work continues to grow. Many farmers at this time feel like they are circus performers spinning plates. One plate to keep up on harvests. One plate to not fall behind on weeding. One plate to continue with your planting schedule. One plate for other field work. The list goes on but the hope is to keep your plates up, spinning. But with that said there is so much abundance for which to be grateful. All the heat-loving summer crops (peppers, watermelon & tomatoes) are flowering, giving hints to the fruits soon to come!"
