South Barrington Seeks Community Input on Conservancy Master Plan | The Village of South Barrington is continuing to develop a Conservancy Master Plan, inviting residents to contribute their ideas on enhancing the local nature preserve. At a recent public meeting, idea boards were unveiled, showcasing potential uses for the Conservancy, including an outdoor amphitheater and a migratory bird watching sanctuary. Residents who missed the meeting can attend the next one on September 25th at 7 p.m. or submit their thoughts via email, as the Village aims to create a space that the entire community can enjoy. | |

Labor Day Live Music at 3D Sideouts: 90s Dance Party, Sunblind, and Deja Vu! | 3D Sideouts Sports Tavern will celebrate Labor Day weekend with live outdoor performances starting with Fool House’s Ultimate 90s Dance Party on Friday, August 30. Parker Players Theater Company Continues "Stage the Build" Campaign to Construct Community Theater in Barrington | Parker Players Theater Company is continuing its "Stage the Build" campaign, aiming to construct a state-of-the-art theater in Barrington. To date, $550,000 has been raised toward a $1 million matching challenge offered by Todd and Libby Rieke and Kim Duchossois. The campaign seeks an additional $450,000 to begin transforming the current venue into a fully functioning black box theater, which will serve as a creative hub for the Barrington area community. | |
