Mundelein Tool Library Grand Opening
Mundelein’s Tool Library Committee cordially invites you to the GRAND OPENING of the Mundelein Tool Library—the first of its kind in Lake County. The grand opening will take place on June 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 428 North Chicago Avenue, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony scheduled for 1 p.m. Meet the founding volunteers who organized this community resource, tour the facility, get a program overview, and most importantly, sign-up as a member! Donations accepted!
A tool-lending library is just like a regular public library, except instead of books, it has a large collection of tools – gardening tools, woodworking tools, home repair tools, and more. Once you join a tool library, you can simply check out any of these tools whenever necessary. You don’t have to buy or rent new tools for every home project, and you don’t have to find space in your house to store tools hardly ever used.
