The Ivy Place Berry Farm

"We have a lot of produce available so here is a mid - June update.

Blueberries- Picking in the field is amazing!! This is our best season in recent memory. The berries are sweet and everywhere!! Great time to eat, freeze or make amazing food.

Blackberry- Picking is still very good for blackberries but will start to significantly trail off over the next 2 weeks. Probably will be finished by end of June so don't miss blackberry season!!

Tomatoes- All varieties are in and they are great. If you have not had them yet, you got to give them a try. Grab off the table or go pick a few under our shade clothe next to field 3. Sun golds are available to pick.

Several options that are great for sharing on vacation: 10 lb box ($28) or 15 lb box ($36) or just buy a few off the table at $3.25/lb.

Veggies- Squash, zucchini are still going, Cucumbers are finally going. Okra, green beans are looking good with peppers just getting started.

Flowers/Sunflowers- Flowers everywhere, dahlias and sunflowers are the stars with zinnias starting to bloom. Cut sunflowers by the stem ($1) or incorporate in a beautiful cut your own bouquet ($15/$25).

Farmstand- The stand will be stocked with lots of tomatoes. We will have pre picked blueberries and blackberries at the stand at least the week of the 17th. Best way to know is to check out our daily update or buy directly off the online store

Hours: 8 am to 4pm everyday except Wednesday 8 am to 8 pm (evening picking)

A few pro tips during summer months:

Come early in the morning or Wednesday early evening to beat the heat. Otherwise the field is manageable in the afternoon if you bring ....sunscreen, Water, Hat and good walking shoes. This will make a huge difference in your experience at the farm during the summer months.
