Bishop's Retreat Needs Help with Childcare

Job Opening at Avon UMC

The Avon United Methodist Church located at 130 Genesee St. in Avon, NY has an opening in Jan. 2024 for an instrumentalist to play piano and/or organ. The duties of the position include playing the service music for the 10:30 a.m. worship service each Sunday, as well as holiday services, and accompanying the adult choir on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. (rehearsals from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.) The church has a beautifully restored Felgemaker organ and a Steinway grand piano. Please email (avonnyumc@gmail.com) or call the church (226-8600) and leave a message if you are interested. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Carlton UMC is Missing 2 CD's

Carlton UMC is missing 2 CD's that accompany The Faith We Sing Hymnal. (#7 and #10). If your church has a couple of extras lying around and you're wondering where they belong, please let me know. Also, if you are a pastor and served at Carlton in the past, please check your CD's. We really could use them since there is no accompanist for the hymns.
