Summer Small Group

Reading through the Book of Concord

This summer we will be reading through The Book of Concord. This book is a compilation of what is to be believed and taught in the Christian church based on Holy Scripture. It contains the three creeds which originated in the ancient church as well as writings from the Reformation. Participants in this Small Group will have the opportunity to meet 5 times over the summer for fellowship, to discuss the readings and to encourage one another. Sign up to receive both the reading plan and the Book of Concord. Meeting Sunday July 2, 23, August 6, 27 at 1pm.

Ladies Morning Summer Bible Study

Join us as we use the SOAP method (Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer) to study the books of Daniel and Hebrews. This 8-week study meets Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 am.

Life Experienced Pool Party 

The Life Experienced group will meet at the home of Charlie & Sandra Hare on July 15th at 6:30 pm for a “Pool Party”. Hot dogs and burgers, tea and water will be provided. Please plan to bring an appetizer or side dish and your favorite beverage to share. Weather permitting plan on taking a dip in their pool! Click here to sign up.

GODSPELL at Artisan Theater

Life Experienced will be going to the Artisan Theater, 444 E. Pipeline Rd. in Hurst to see their production of "Godspell" on August 12^th at 3:30 pm. Anyone in the congregation is welcome to join us! Depending on the number of reservations, tickets will either be $20 or $26.  Please sign-up online no later than July 19th. Donna Sellers will need tickets paid for by July 26^th.  After the performance , we plan to go to Italianni's Restaurant (1601 Precinct Line, Hurst).

Costa Rica Mission Project Completed

We are so thankful to God that LWLC could fund, and participate in the construction of a multi-purpose, open-air facility in Costa Rica. Our partner church there had a dream of having a space that could be used for ministry and outreach. On each mission trip, our mission teams from LWLC helped with the construction. Here's a link to a video that shows how this dream became a reality. To God be all glory!

Paws and Pals Ministry

LWLC Pet Therapy Ministry will bring much joy to the residents at Discovery Village in Southlake on July 10th at 2:30 pm. We will also meet at Arden Place in Grapevine every 4th Saturday morning at 10:30 am. Contact Steve Burke at steve@lwlc.com if you would like to join the team.  

CCA Food Pantry in Lewisville
