Fall Book Club
The kids had a great time at our first session of Book Club this morning. Everyone participated and enjoyed breakfast. The groups had good, in-depth discussions about the characters and things they liked and disliked about the books. It was a great way for the children to see why it's important to read a variety of stories to help determine or find new interests.
Thank you to all the parent volunteers to who help led discussions and Ms. LeGate for helping with discussion questions and book discussions too!
Thank you Wendy Sanchez for coordinating volunteers for this event and Shilpy Kapoor for arranging the breakfast.
Book Club will meet again on Nov 14 and Dec 12.

Did you know that 1 in 13 kids in the United States has a food allergy? That’s about two students in every classroom. For children with food allergies, even a tiny amount of food they are allergic to can make them very sick.
The Teal Pumpkin Project is a simple way to make trick or treating safer and more inclusive for children living with food allergies and other food related conditions. Instead of candy, consider offering non-food items. Learn how to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project and help make this Halloween safer for everyone.
