Join The Fight Against Preventable Blindness

Look what can be accomplished when you join your District team of Friends in Sight volunteers. We are halfway through 2023, and thanks to 12 club-sponsored events, Lions have scored an impactful victory in the fight. Together, we provided essential vision care to 2,259 individuals. Among those served, an impressive 745 people received their first pair of vision correcting eyeglasses, bringing newfound clarity to their lives. Among those, 522 children were given a chance at a brighter, clearer future with the gift of free recycled eyeglasses. And, our volunteer doctors assessed the eye health in every patient, detecting vision threatening disease in over 100. Friends in Sight is committed to improving sight and preventing blindness to those in need across all of Southern California and Northern Mexico.

With your help, we will make sure our equipment and volunteers safely travel to your vision screening events.
