A Brief History

Discover the remarkable Friends in Sight journey. It begins in 2010 with a small group's determination to provide essential vision screening services for those in need across Southern California and Northern Mexico.

Over the years, the impact grew exponentially by conducting more than 100,000 eye health screenings and providing recycled eyeglasses to all who needed them. Supported by dedicated Lions, doctor volunteers, generous donations, and cutting-edge equipment, our influence expanded. We're now adding more new Lions to District Teams to extend our reach even further.
