May Is Mental Health Month; Events and Resources Available

Did you know that research shows that anxiety and gratitude cannot coexist in the brain at the same time? Writing down three things you are grateful for each day can boost your mental health.

May is Mental Health Month in Lexington. Mental health is an important part of our overall well-being. Free and confidential resources are available in our community for people of all ages.

Throughout the month, we will be highlighting available resources and hosting a number of events focused on improving our mental health.

Take a FREE Mental Health Screening

Online screening is one of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition.

The first 100 Lexington residents to take a mental health screening could be entered to win a free mental health toolkit. Visit our website for details.

Mental Health Month Events

Throughout May, we have a number of great events sponsored by the Lexington Mental Health Task Force and Human Services Department.

Additional information on each event is available on our Mental Health Month webpage.
