CIRS to Build China Chemical Toxicology and Risk Assessment Centre (CCTRAC) with China Entry & Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CIQ) Ningbo
19 Aug 2011, The China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CIQ) Ningbo and CIRS signed a strategic cooperation agreement to build China Chemical Toxicology and Risk Assessment Centre (CCTRAC). The cooperation will combine CIQ's GLP lab resources and CIRS's strong expertise in chemical classification, registration and risk assessment of chemicals in China. The joint centre will offer comprehensive physio-chemical, toxicological and eco-toxicological testing and risk assessment for new chemical substance notification in China. The center will also provide required testing and evaluation for the classification of hazardous substances and mixtures in accordance with China GHS.
