Lindner Center of HOPE is pleased to announce that Michael Groat, PhD, will be joining the Center in December in the role of Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Groat has a 15-year career in leadership in nationally renowned hospital, residential, and outpatient treatment programs that provide evidence-based mental health and addiction services for children and adults, including Silver Hill, Cooper Riis and The Menninger Clinic.
Dr. Groat will be responsible for therapeutic program development and implementation for both inpatient and residential services at Lindner Center of HOPE and will have supervisory authority over the clinical activity and continuum of care of residential services. In this role, Dr. Groat will be responsible for the development, measurement, analysis, and communication of outcomes that inform the culture of empathy, excellence, and continuous improvement at the Center.
In this capacity, Dr. Groat will provide oversight and leadership to experienced psychologists and the Director, Residential Services and be responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering superior quality patient care, standardizing clinical protocols, developing clinical strategic goals, outcomes, and program expansion, and contributing to the recruitment and retention of clinical staff.
Additionally, he will provide direct patient care and will engage in strategic marketing activities.
