SERVING OUR SAVIOR

Greeting: This week has been a good week. We are busy planning our annual Open House, CHAIRished Blessings, all the while reviewing applications and meeting people who are in need. When I say ‘we’ please understand I am including all the tremendous volunteer staff that serve alongside us and others to meet the needs of so many. Our Warehouse Men had a special experience this week. They delivered furniture to an older lady and had a unique spiritual visit with her. Prayer is always offered after the delivery, and they spend time visiting about the client’s situation and prayer needs. When they asked the lady what they could pray for, she shared her story with them that left them blessed beyond measure! They came back to the office filled up with the spirit and shared with us. Her story was a testament of the power of God through the Holy Spirit that brought us all to our knees. I am careful not to reveal too much, however, I can tell you that she was on a destructive path due to an extremely abusive situation. Just when she had made a decision to give in to Satan’s lies, the Lord made a way for her to see Him. And her life was changed, and she invited Jesus in her heart. She is saved today. We will see her in Heaven. In addition, it just so happens the warehouse guys had invited a student who has been helping in the warehouse to join them on this visit. There was no room for this young man to ride in the delivery truck, so they invited him to follow them in his own vehicle. They gave him the choice and he really did not have to but for whatever reason he decides to go. The lady’s story opened up some discussion with this young man about salvation as well. Franklin, our Warehouse manager, shared this blessing with our Board of Directors as well during our last Board meeting. This is why we believe the request people have serve only an avenue to sharing the Gospel and sharing the good news of our Savior.
CHAIRished Blessings update:
We are so excited about our fundraiser CHAIRrished Blessings. Folks from our partnering churches stop by to buy tickets, deliver baskets, and deliver silent auctions items, all for the event. Visiting with folks we don’t get to see often is an extra blessing for us. As the date for the event quickly approaches, I want to highlight a new addition to our evening. Love INC wishes to promote other Christian organizations and walk along each other in the Name of Jesus. This year please help us support Casa. When you come to the event, bring a package of undergarments for a child. You will receive 5 raffle tickets! Please note, the raffle tickets you will receive will only be for the items on display for the evening of the event. You may have read or noticed that the Cornerstone Cowboy Church is raffling another item. You will NOT receive a free raffle ticket for this item. If this is confusing, please call the office for more information. We have a beautiful repurposed piece of furniture from our Warehouse Ministry and a large smoker or bar-b-q pit to raffle that evening!

Dear Lord, thank you for your consistent grace. Your presence is clearly evident through your devoted people. To serve you is our greatest treasure. Thank you for allowing Love INC to serve those who are truly in need. Bless those who have entrusted us with their gifts so others in our community benefit from items from our warehouse ministry, and so much more. I pray in Your Name Jesus that those who are truly in need will find their way to our door. Amen

Volunteers: Love INC has many opportunities to serve together for the glory of God. You or your church should decide if serving together for an event, a special project, weekly, monthly, or once a year is desired. Love INC has many opportunities to serve our Lord Jesus together. Clearinghouse: This week the Home Team made 14 visits to see families who had requested help. Another record of home visit for us. What a witness the home team members are to these families and to us. They bring a new definition to ‘Home Missions.’ May God continue to bless each one of them.
Warehouse: Heaters needed! Thank you to the precious person who had the heaters and small crock pots delivered to us. What a thoughtful gift! We have enough linen and blankets for now! Thank you thank you!! The week on CHAIRished Blessings, we will not be picking up donations. Thank you for your patience. After our event, donations are accepted Monday – Thursday 9-4:30 Monday – Thursday. Call for a pick and someone will call back with the earliest time we can pick up your donation.
