We have a long and growing waitlist of families that want to become seasonal campers. Please get your deposit in as soon as possible or we will assume that you are not returning next season and your site will be available to rent.
License Fees Must be Paid in Full by April 15, 2021
We accept payments by mail. Mail personal checks or money orders to Fish Lake Beach 32223 N. US Hwy 12 Volo Illinois 60073. Credit card payments are accepted by calling 847-546-2228 and speaking with a staff member. A 3% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
We thank seasonals that pay in full by April 15th 2021 with 10 Guest Passes.
For those that are able to pay in full by February 1st 2021 we offer a $25 reduction.
Licensees must have an e-mail address on file that is checked regularly. If your e-mail has changed you must send your new e-mail address to camping@fishlakebeach.com by October 30th 2020. It is the responsibility of licensees to stay informed about pertinent license information and registration by opening and reading the emails we send.
PLEASE NOTE: If your email changes AFTER October 30th 2020 registration forms will not be sent to the new email address, they will be sent to the email address on file prior to October 30th 2020. Registering online as soon as the registration is sent will help you obtain your vehicle passes in a timely manner.
End of Season 2020
As you know, Fish Lake Beach is open through Sunday, November 1st--weather permitting. To be clear, weather permitting means that Fish Lake Beach will be open unless there is a freeze warning predicted by WGN weather between now and November 1st.
IF a freeze warning is predicted, we will be forced to blow out our water lines throughout the park which means that there will not be any water on at your site, our bathrooms will be closed, and no overnight stays or campfires will be permitted.
IF Fish Lake is Open through November 1st
The water will get turned off and washrooms will be closed Monday, November 2nd at 7am. Campfires, overnight stays, boating and fishing are all prohibited starting November 2, 2020
Limited Admittance: November 2nd-November 25th
The outer gate at the entrance off of Rt. 12 and the outer gate off of Volo Village Rd will be locked starting Friday, November 6th. Seasonal campers access cards are inactivated .
The outer gates require remote gate openers and the entry gate at the gatehouse requires an access card; both are available at Fish Lake Trailer Sales, with a drivers license to hold until they're returned. Remotes and access cards must be returned by 2:45p.
On November 7th and 8th an attendant will be at the gatehouse from 9am-4pm to admit seasonals that need to complete their fall clean up. Everyone must be gone by 4pm.

Fish Lake Beach is CLOSED for admittance starting Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
Fish Lake Trailer Sales is OPEN 9a-3pm every day until November 25th.
Beginning November 26th Fish Lake Trailer Sales is closed except by appointment. 847-546-4777. Always call before coming.
Voice mails and emails received between December 19th through January 3rd will be responded to after we re-open January 4th.
Opening Season 2021
Every spring seasonal campers wish to check on their trailers in March, prior to the official opening in April. However, we do not allow it due to the potential risk of damage to our roads and property caused by driving in the campground when there is snow, ice, or wet grounds.
We hope to be open for seasonals to check on their trailers and begin spring cleanup on the weekend of April 3rd and 4th. The water will be off, however, electric service will be available. The hours will be 8a-4p. Campfires and overnight camping are prohibited until water is on.
If weather conditions allow, we'll turn the water on April 16th.
