Are you planning to live off-campus? Join an Off-Campus Renting 101 Virtual Session for a step by step guide from a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor who will help to prepare you for off-campus renting!

The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) is a voluntary program for households enrolled in Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, and Project-Based Voucher programs to help them increase their earnings and build financial capability and assets.

UNCG Science is Everywhere

Everyone is invited to the UNCG Science Everywhere Festival on the UNCG campus. Admission and parking in the McIver Parking Deck are free. The Festival will have over 50 hands-on activities, music and music science, an electron microscope art display, an opportunity to visit research labs of federally-funded projects, the new nursing building, and the new esports arena, and much more.

The Office of Sustainability and Resilience (OSR) presents the City of Greensboro’s Earth Day festival 1-4 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Keeley Park.

The festival will include a wide range of activities and educational opportunities -- from tutorials of environmentally-friendly lawn care practices to demos of renewable energy technology to animal interactions. OSR will also name the 2024 #LiveGreen Award winners at this event.

The festival is expected to draw more than 3,000 people and 50 vendors.

The USDA has launched a new, permanent program to provide food assistance to children and families during the summer. The SUN Bucks program will officially launch in summer 2024! SUN Bucks will provide grocery-buying benefits to qualifying families with school-aged children during the summer months when schools are on summer break. SUN Bucks is sometimes referred to as Summer EBT.

SUN Bucks benefits are issued to debit-like cards (EBT cards) that families can use to purchase nutritious food. Beginning in summer 2024, families will receive $120 per eligible child for the summer period.
