Alumnae Needed for Special Project!
Join us by being a part of a special video production that will have a major impact on the lives of our students. The Advancement Team is creating a Fund-a-Need video for this year’s La Merced Gala to help raise money for financial assistance.

We can’t do this without you though! We would like to highlight our gala theme Then and Now by featuring 7-8 alumnae from each decade alongside current students. The task is simple—there are no lines to recite—just be excited to be a part of Mercy’s rich 65 year history!

Filming will take place on Saturday, March 10 from 12:30-4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Janine Nolfi is Retiring!
Honor Ms. Nolfi's 32-year career at Mercy by helping us create a book of memories, photos, and messages from her beloved students. If you were a dancer, ASB member, student of hers—or even friend or colleague—we want to collect your well wishes, memories, and photos. Please email them to gwasley@mercyhs.org .

If you would like to show support of Ms. Nolfi's years of service and the love she has given to each of her students, please consider donating in honor of her retirement. We will have a reception in the Dance Studio (date TBD) to send Ms. Nolfi into retirement and celebrate those who made donations in honor of her milestone.

Dancers Dazzle in Ms. Nolfi's Final Show
More than 800 people enjoyed four performances full of authentic and emotional dancing by 28 amazing Mercy women as they presented this year's Winter Dance Concert: Quantum Leap .

The dancers performed the shows over two weekends in January and the theatre was nearly at capacity on the final night with 330 people cheering on the dancers.

More than 60 alumnae, faculty, and staff came out to celebrate Ms. Nolfi's last Winter Dance Concert at Mercy in January. The Mercy spirit was alive and well as alumnae shared memories, stories, and experiences with Ms. Nolfi over the years. She will be dearly missed! Watch the video below to hear what our current students have to say about our beloved dance teacher.
Alumnae, several of whom were taught by Ms. Nolfi, came out to celebrate her final performance and joined her on stage on the final night.
Crab Feed Most Successful in Recent Years
Thanks to our friends and partners in the Mercy community, we recently wrapped up one of the most successful crab feeds in recent years.

More than 220 attendees - including parents, employees, and alumnae - attended the Feb. 3 Crab Feed and enjoyed delicious food and great company. Attendees were served by more than 50 Mercy students and 20 parent volunteers. The event grossed more than $14,000 with proceeds supporting educational opportunities for our students.

One table was full of alumnae from the class of 1959 and one of them hadn’t been back on campus since her graduation!
