Summer Wrap-Up: Top Moments & Highlights

We hope you are enjoying a joyful and rejuvenating summer break!

It's been an exciting summer at Da Vinci Schools with athletics camps, enrichment camps, hands-on career training clinics, and much more. We are especially proud of the Wiseburn Da Vinci community's first-ever athletics camps created in partnership with Da Vinci Schools, Wiseburn Unified, Wiseburn Education Foundation, and Da Vinci Schools Fund (see the story below).

We are shifting our momentum into the new academic year with our leadership team and teachers engaging in organization-wide and school site professional development in the coming days and weeks ahead.

We can't wait to welcome our new and returning students back to our campuses beginning on August 19th! We invite you to join us in anticipating what we will accomplish together in the year to come.

With 1,151 Enrollments in Our ‘24 Summer in Wiseburn Camp Programs, it’s our Biggest Camp Experience Yet!

It’s been an unforgettable summer with our Wiseburn Da Vinci community's first-ever athletics camps, which were created in partnership with Wiseburn USD, Da Vinci Schools, Wiseburn Education Foundation, and Da Vinci Schools Fund. Between the athletics camps, our enrichment camps, and our career training clinics, 1,151 youth participated in summer programs in Wiseburn for our biggest summer camp experience yet!

Fostering a Sense of Community as Students Make the Transition from Middle School to High School

Moving from middle school to high school can be exciting, intimidating and scary at the same time. Students leave behind a comfortable and familiar place and step into new surroundings with older teenagers and a focus on preparing for college and career.

At Da Vinci Schools, the vast majority of our incoming 9th grade students are introduced to Da Vinci many months before the first day of school in August through in-person info sessions, tours, community-building orientation events, and more. To help students seamlessly join the Da Vinci community, school leaders, teachers and staff provide a warm welcome as caring adults with a ‘you can ask me anything, we’re here to help you’ attitude.

2023-24 WDV Athletics Program Recap

WDV Athletics enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2023-24 with 599 student-athletes participating on 29 teams in 16 sports. In its second year as a member of the South Bay Athletics Association – one of the most competitive high school associations in the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIF-SS) – WDV achieved tremendous individual and team successes!

Wiseburn Da Vinci Soccer Field Coming Fall 2024

The Wiseburn-Da Vinci Soccer Field project is in full swing, promising a fantastic new space for our students and community! The projected project completion is October 2024. We can't wait!
