Pre-registration begins June 1, 2021!
This year, the summer reading program is going digital again beginning June 14 through August 14, 2021! The Library is using a new online platform called Beanstack to track your reading logs, host missions, prize drawings and more.

Celebrate forever freedom! Mark June 19th, 1865 as a day to acknowledge and celebrate the freedom of enslaved people in America. We will be providing this take and make craft, in recognition of reflecting, educating and understanding diversity in our communities or in America.
We are committed to raising awareness on the ongoing fight against racism. Mugs will be available during curbside pickup hours, starting June 14, 2021. Supplies are limited. No registration required.

Juneteenth is a Holiday which celebrates the day in Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865, when Major General Gordon Granger announced the end of legalized slavery in the state!
